Things really seem to be happening in Chicago at the moment. Not only is the city home to the wonderful Tiny Fireflies, but we now have the amazing Love and Radiation as well. Love and Radiation is the project of Chicago-based musicians Adele Nicholas and Lakshmi Ramgopal. Blending elements of electronica, indie rock, and dance pop, Love and Radiation make haunting music you can dance to.

During the day, Adele works as a civil rights lawyer and Lakshmi as a doctoral student at the University of Chicago. By night, they become Love and Radiation. Their songs feature dark lyrical imagery against a backdrop of propulsive dance beats, distorted guitars, and melodic synths.

Looking forward to the full length album which should be out early next year.
