I've never been in love

I'm hoping that at some stage a live performance by The Sea Urchins will show up on Youtube. I am pretty sure a couple of gigs were filmed, most notably, a gig at Birmingham's Barrel Organ. In the meantime, an early Delta gig at The Jug Of Ale has now been posted. I was once having a conversation with someone regarding the difference between Delta and The Sea Urchins. They said that The Sea Urchins sounded young, exhilarating and exciting whereas Delta sounded... old. I wasn't sure what to think. I like a lot of the Delta releases, especially Slippin' Out, and all bands have to move forward in terms of sound and approach, but I always seem to prefer the early days of groups before too much thought has been put into things. Too much thought ruins everything. I suppose it depends what sort of mood you are in, as they are two very different bands, both equally accomplished in what they were doing. Some days you just want to listen to "You're So Much" and another it could be "Everybody" or "Funny Lookin' Angels". So many great songs by both bands. It's a tough call.
