i was happy when i had nothing to believe

Sea Urchins demos tend to be a little like buses. Nothing for ages then two come along together. I was excited to receive an email from Stuart to say that he was sending the remaining Sea Urchins songs he had in demo form. Stuart had previously kindly sent "Low Scene" which can be found here. There are three songs posted, the best of which is "Laughing Mostly". A real classic. I saw Delta playing this song but didn't realise it had been written towards the end of The Sea Urchins era. Such a shame it has never been properly recorded. I'm not sure there is any bass guitar on these demos, but if there is it is very low in the mix. The songs are much more fully formed than the demos I recently posted and probably represented the songs lined up for vinyl release if the band had not split up. Thanks again, Stuart, for sending the songs.
