Continuing with the Red Roses For Me theme, another seminal tape that was released was the Honey At The Core compilation that came with Red Roses For Me 4 in 1991. This is another wonderful mixture of pop gems and 500 copies of the tape and fanzine were produced. This shows that even though the scene was small, it was definitely thriving. As with all things the good times can never last forever, and in a couple of years the indiepop scene began to peter out as people moved on, but the 1989 - 1992 period remains a golden age.
